In relation to the category of real estate that he estimates will see the largest decrease in their value, he expressed the view that in commercial real estate the decrease will reach up to 15%. Referring to the Ask Wire Index, Mr. Loizou said that it covers all areas and main types of real estate, with prices from the 4th quarter of 2009 until today.

On an annual basis, as he stressed, the sale prices of real estate, nationwide, increased by 12.3% for apartments, 3.1% for houses, 2.4% for offices, 8% for holiday apartments and 3.1% for holiday homes. On the contrary, the sale prices of commercial real estate decreased by -0.1% and by -1.8% in warehouses.
